Constitutional Literalists and the Post Office

I think it is funny how people who believe in the purity of the constitution are the ones who want to get rid of the post office because it does not turn a profit (has taken no money from the federal government in 31 years except for a small amount for disabled folks and other very tiny programs).

Wait a darned tootin' second. Pick a belief, fundamental constitutional adherence, or getting rid of the post office.

To everyone who thinks that we should get rid of the post office, take a moment to consider Section 1 Article 8 of the Constitution which in part reads: "To establish Post Offices and Post Roads;"

But hey, don't let the facts get in your way -- it isn't like you ever did before.
