The problem with this current campaign cycle is the latitude it has
given racists and sexists to physically and verbally abuse women, and
people of color.
This verbose Trump-supporting blowhard decided racial abuse and verbal abuse was an appropriate way to express frustration about having no seat - to which he felt entitled.
This is NYC. I cannot believe how many people
watched and tolerated this abuse. Shame on them for watching this guy
abuse this woman for refusing to give him her seat.
Time to stop letting the radicals being whipped up by Trump and dog whistles get away with this.
While out stumping for Donald Trump, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani addressed terrorism in the United States.
"Under those eight years, before Obama came
along, we didn't have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in
the United States. They all started when Clinton and Obama got into
office, " said Rudy Giuliani.
I had to do a double take and had to watch the video to verify the context and full quote. He said it.
It is unclear if he forgot George W Bush was the president during the 9/11 attacks, if he does not understand that September 11, 2001 happened in the 8 years before Obama became president because math is hard, or if he simply forgot 9/11.
When pulled over by police and searched, black people are less likely than whites to have something illegal in their car.
Black people are pulled over and searched more often than white people, even though they are less likely in possession of something illegal.
If racial profiling were justified, police should focus their profiling on white people. The truth is though it isn't about catching criminals, it is about catching black criminals.
Can we please, please, start letting facts get in the way?
